In 2006, Siemens fully restructured its integrator program across all business areas, raising the bar so as to keep only the very best integration firms as “Solution Partners”. Optimation was one of the first integrators qualified and signed as part of this new Automation program. Clients can be assured that Optimation has the proven product experience and the supplier commitment for critical projects.

Pharmaceutical Specialist
Optimation is the first integrator meeting Siemens’ Pharmaceutical Specialist status in North America. This offers clients national support for PCS7 process automation systems and brings Optimation’s long history of validation experience to the Siemens platform. Optimation integrated the first PCS7 system to pass validation in North America.

Production Support
Optimation was contracted for a multi-year onsite startup assistance role as dozens of new Siemens-powered machines came online in one of General Motor’s new engine lines. During this installation, Optimation engineers ensured that equipment from various domestic and international OEMs worked correctly together and fulfilled the customer requirements as it was integrated into the facility. As a direct liaison to Siemens, Optimation was pivotal in the version control, punch list resolution, and on-time startup of the new plant.
